Recently, the 350-ton shipbuilding gantry crane, independently developed and manufactured by Wei Hua, has completed the main beam hoisting at the Dalian Hengli Shipbuilding Base, officially entering the critical phase of assembly and commissioning.

This marks the project's full transition into the delivery sprint phase, nearing the acceptance stage, and upon production, it will directly support the batch construction of high-end vessels in China.

The 350-ton-class shipbuilding gantry crane being hoisted this time has a total span of 96 meters and a lifting height of 28 meters. It integrates functions such as lifting, horizontal movement, hoisting, and in-air flipping of ship sections, making it a true "strongman" in ship hull assembly operations.

During the R&D process, WeiHua's technical team innovatively introduced a lightweight design concept: effectively reducing the overall weight of the machine while achieving a dual leap in structural rigidity and overall stability. The equipment is also fully equipped with multiple safety redundancies, including wind resistance, seismic resistance, collision prevention, and anti-overturning features, making it well-suited to handle the complex climate and operational conditions of northern coastal regions.

Leveraging Wei Hua's years of technical expertise and project reputation in the lifting equipment sector, the client procured a one-time batch of 63 lifting devices, encompassing multiple models such as 350-ton shipbuilding gantry cranes and 250-ton overhead cranes. This comprehensive selection fully meets the multi-scenario logistics transfer needs in shipyards, ranging from block assembly to outfitting transportation, once again affirming Wei Hua's leading service capabilities in the maritime and offshore engineering niche.

After the batch of equipment is put into production, it will primarily serve the manufacturing processes of high-value-added, high-technology-barrier vessel types such as VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier), VLAC (Very Large Ammonia Carrier), Capesize bulk carriers, and large container ships.
