On September 8, the key equipment—2400t-200m gantry crane for the Qidong Huisun Offshore Engineering Equipment Base project, manufactured by Weihua Marine, officially commenced production. The kick-off meeting was highly regarded by both enterprises, with leaders and relevant personnel from both sides attending the ceremony.

Chen Qizhong, Project Director of the Qidong Huisun Offshore Crane Project, delivered a speech. He emphasized that the 2,400-ton-200-meter gantry crane is a core lifting equipment specifically customized by Huisun Offshore forhigh-end offshore engineering production conditions. The entire machine weighs over 7,200 tons, featuring significant production technical challenges, stringent quality standards, and tight delivery timelines, posing an extreme test to the comprehensive capabilities of manufacturing enterprises. Based on this, Director Chen expressed his high expectations for Weihua Marine, hoping the company could complete the equipment delivery task with high standards and quality, elevating this collaboration to a new peak of win-win cooperation between both enterprises. At the same time, he also looked forward to both parties seizing this opportunity to jointly support the high-quality development of China's offshore port machinery equipment industry chain, contributing greater efforts to building a modern offshore industrial system and accelerating the advancement of manufacturing powerhouse and maritime powerhouse construction.

 The 2400t-200m single-girder gantry crane boasts significant performance advantages and a wide range of operational functions. It can perform single-lift, dual-hook lifting, triple-hook lifting, quadruple-hook lifting, and various other modes such as ship hull section flipping in mid-air. It excels particularly in section flipping and closing operations, fully meeting the complex production demands of high-end marine engineering equipment.

Director Chen Qizhong announced the project commencement, initiating the ignition and cutting process

 A gantry crane with a 2400t-200m single main beam features two 2×600t upper trolleys and one 700/50t lower trolley arranged on the same track. The upper and lower trolleys can traverse each other, enabling lifting of up to 2400t across the entire main beam range (with trolley spacing ≥50m), effectively ensuring stability and safety for heavy-load operations. The crane's track span reaches 200m, with a total weight of 7200 tons, making it the heaviest lifting equipment in Weihua Marine's current projects. This achievement marks a new milestone in Weihua Marine's technical capabilities and production capacity in the field of large-scale lifting equipment manufacturing.
