Recently, the Weihua lifting gantry crane with a height of 658 meters and a super high lift vertical shaft was officially put into use at the Songyang Pumped Storage Power Station in Zhejiang Province, helping the construction of the power station enter a new stage and contributing vigorous green energy to the construction of a green, efficient, and intelligent power system in the local area.
The water intake shaft of Songyang Pumped Storage Power Station is 537 meters deep, forming a total height of 637 meters with the water intake and pressure regulating shaft directly above, making it the deepest vertical shaft in domestic water conservancy and hydropower projects.
The Weihua ultra-high lift gantry crane used in this project has become the world's first set of equipment with a lifting height of 658 meters, providing an efficient and safe solution for engineering construction. It can complete a series of ultra-high lift safe lifting operations during the entire process of vertical shaft construction and excavation.
