Recently, after 14 days of day and night battles, with the precise lifting of the main beam to a height of 120 meters, the first domestically developed 3000 ton gantry crane by Weihua Group was successfully installed at the Hailong Wind Power Base in Jiangsu.

Technological breakthrough: far ahead 'super equipment'

The total lifting capacity of this gantry crane is 3000 tons, with a single trolley lifting capacity of 1600 tons, a lifting height of 120 meters, a span of 120 meters, equivalent to lifting 2000 cars to the height of a 40 story residential building at once. It can meet the lifting needs of ultra large offshore wind power equipment and is truly a "national treasure".

To ensure the stable performance of coastal operations, this product adopts a single beam double trolley system and a four drum double hook synchronous structure. The stiffness and strength of the entire structure are verified by combining a three-dimensional digital prototype and finite element analysis, strictly controlling quality standards. At the same time, it is equipped with a crane safety management monitoring system to achieve intelligent management throughout the entire life cycle, ensuring stability and safety under extreme working conditions such as typhoons.

The main beam of the 3000 ton gantry crane is 134.7 meters long and weighs 2085 tons. It needs to cross complex road sections for transportation, and real-time load data is monitored by a bending car. It took 16 hours to complete the "Big Mac" transportation, accumulating valuable experience for the subsequent transportation of large items.

To ensure product safety and efficiency improvement, Weihua Ocean has innovatively designed the largest rope arrangement mechanism in China based on the actual situation of the project site, ensuring the stability and reliability of product lifting. At the same time, industry experts and professors have been invited to conduct technical evaluations, and the most mature hydraulic synchronous lifting technology in the world has been adopted for installation. The overall lifting time is 14 days, reaching the leading level in the industry.

After the completion of the commissioning of the 3000 ton gantry crane, it will be used for the hoisting of large offshore wind turbine components of Hailong Wind Power, greatly improving production efficiency, accelerating the large-scale development of offshore wind power in China, and helping to achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
