Recently, at the Jiangyin Port National Offshore Wind Power Research and Testing Base in Fuqing City, Fujian Province, the Henan Weihua 1000t double girder gantry crane successfully completed heavy load experiments and was put into operation.

This project is the first national level offshore wind power research and testing base in China. After the base is built, it can carry out testing and testing of the world's largest capacity wind turbines and longest sized wind turbine blades, which strongly supports the research and development of offshore wind power equipment and the theoretical research of offshore wind power grid connection in China, filling the gap in high-power and full-size equipment testing and verification in the field of offshore wind power in China.

The Weihua crane delivered this time has multiple advantages such as safety, reliability, and intelligence, which will help push the project towards the goal of becoming an international first-class offshore wind power research platform, testing platform, and communication and cooperation platform.

Based on the characteristics of large lifting weight, complex working conditions, and high control accuracy of the project, Weihua Crane adopts a U-shaped gantry structure, double dragon gate four point lifting, with a maximum lifting weight of 1000t and a maximum lifting point height greater than 18m. It adopts frequency conversion+PLC control, which can achieve adjustable horizontal and vertical distances and free rotation of the lifting beam, with a control accuracy of ± 1mm.

At the same time, it is equipped with a crane safety monitoring and management system, which has functions such as job task management, status monitoring, operation parameter recording, storage, query, and traceability. It also has multimedia prompt functions such as alarm and image display, greatly reducing job risks and improving safety operation coefficients.

The offshore wind power research and testing base is a major project of the national "14th Five Year Plan" and an important component of the national key laboratory for renewable energy grid connection.
